On Wine - Tintara Mills End Shiraz 2007

The Mill, is a reference to the Mortlock Flour mill that James Hardy purchased and converted to Mill Cellars for the enhancement of his burgeoning wine business and is still the site of the Tintara winery on Main Road McLaren Vale. The Tintara label seems to always be attached to a quality wine and this is no exception. It’s a smooth-drinking but full-bodied wine that I suspect wouldn’t be one for long-cellaring. Seems typical of the modern McLaren Vale drink-now style.

A fantastic value wine at around $12-15 a bottle if you can get if for that price as I did.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
